Security cover for AP film star Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad, Jan 6: The Andhra Pradesh Government had increased security cover to Telugu Film Star Chiranjeevi in the wake of his recent announcement that he would be floating a political party in three months in the state.

Police sources said four security personnel were deployed at Chiranjeevi's house where a police outpost would also be set up. The security was being provided by the State Intelligence Security Wing which guards VIPs in the state. Till now, the city security wing had provided security to the actor for which he used to pay.

'One-plus-one security has been provided for Chiranjeevi on hire from the city security wing. Now, this has been taken over by Intelligence Security Wing,' a police official said.
