JCDA to form JCDA limited in J'khand

Ranchi, Jan 6(UNI) Expressing concern over entrance of MNCs in retail trading of medicines, the Jharkhand Chemist and Druggist Association today said that a separate company would be formed in Jharkhand to save the retailers of the state.

While speaking at the national convention of JCDA held here, JCDA persident Srikrishna Pradhan said the assocation had already signed an agreement with a Kolkata-based company to form a JCDA limited.

Mr Pradhan said that initially, the company would contain a capital of about Rs two crores.

The newly-formed company would purchase medicines directly from the manufacturers and supply them to the retailers in the state, Mr Pradhan said.

About 600 representatives participted in the convention.
