Hilary Swank refuses to celebrate Valentine's Day

Washington, Jan 6 : American actress Hilary Swank has refused to celebrate St Valentine's Day - because she believes that every day of the year should be treated like Valentine's Day.

The actress feels that one should live every day filled with love and romance.

The 33-year-old said that too much importance has been given to the day and that it has become a totally commercialised and overrated event.

"Every day should be Valentine's Day. Every day you should show the person you love how much you love them," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"People should not be taken for granted, because you never know what's going to happen tomorrow," she added.
