Cold wave abates in Delhi; min rises to 7.4 degrees Celsius
New Delhi, Jan 6 (UNI) The cold wave sweeping the capital city since the New Year day has abated today with minimum temperature rising to 7.4 degrees Celsius, which was near normal.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
Met office here attributed the rise in temperature to the cloud cover over the skyline.
A slight fog was also witnessed this morning while the visibility level remained near normal at 500 mt, it said.
Weatherman predicted a partly cloudy sky with minimum temperature further rising to 12 degrees Celsius during the next 24 hours.
