Sonia to continue rest in hospital; condition satisfactory
New Delhi, Jan 5 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi would remain in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here for some more days as doctors have advised her to continue rest.
Issuing Ms Gandhi's health bulletin, Dr B K Rao, Chairman, Board of Management, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said the UPA Chairperson was improving steadily.
''Her condition is stable and satisfactory,'' he added.
However, Dr Rao said the Congress president has been advised to continue rest.
The statement is a clear indication that Ms Gandhi would continue to be in the hospital for some more days.
The UPA chairperson was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Monday night after complaining of asthma and chest pain.
Dr Rao had earlier denied Ms Gandhi was suffering from pneumonitis as reported in a section of the media.
