Rs six lakhs worth jewelry stolen from Yoganarasimha temple

Mysore, Jan 5 (UNI) Gold Jewelry worth about Rs Six lakh was stolen from Yoganarasimha temple in Melakote, about 40 km from here, in the wee hours of today.

Police said that the culprits had entered the temple by breaking open the locks of main door and have stolen jewelry put on Yoganarasimha swami idol.

Five security guards have been questioned and investigation is in progress, police added.
