KC stage dharna protesting anti-people policies of Government

Kottayam, Jan 5 (UNI) Thousands of Kerala Congress activists under the auspices of the Kerala Congress Aikya Vedi today staged a dharna before the Collectorate here in protest against the anti- people policies of the Left Democratic Front(LDF) Government and the increase in prices of essential commodities.

K M Mani, MLA inaugurated dharna. C F Thomas, R Balakrishna Pillai, T M Jacob and P C George, were among others, who addressed the dharna.

The leaders alleged that life became miserable under the LDF regime and demanded steps to redress the grievances of the people.
