NPPA seeks cost data from industry to revise pricing norms for 2008
New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) today sought cost data from the Pharma manufacturing units and formulators to revise and fix the norms for Conversion Cost (CC), Packing Charges (PC), Process Loss (PL) and Packing Material (PM) for the year 2008 as per the provisions of DPCO' 1995.
Two detailed questionnaire in printed form have already been sent to pharma units and Industry Associations. Soft copies of both the questionnaires are available on the official website of NPPA i.e.
www.nppaindia.nic.in These norms for CC, PC, PL and PM are to be worked out based on actual cost data received from various manufacturers and formulators, according to an official release here.
The information is to be furnished to NPPA in a soft copy on Compact Diskette (CD) along with a duly signed hard copy besides Annual Reports of the company for the last two years.
The last date of submission of the aforesaid data and information is January 31, 2008.
