Kohima,

The
Nagaland
BJP,
an
ally
of
the
outgoing
Democratic
Alliance
of
Nagaland
(DAN)
government,
today
lambasted
the
state
Congress
leaders
for
imposition
of
the
President's
Rule
in
the
state.
In a statement issued here, BJP state unit president Ato Yepthomi described the development as ''murder of democracy'' and claimed that it was a victory for the DAN government.''This development has been a matter of shame for the UPA allies at the Centre as they had been kept in the dark and not consulted on the issue,'' he claimed.
Mr Yepthomi also cautioned that if the NDA returned to power, it would apply the same yardstick to Goa.
Meanwhile, in a separate release, state BJP spokesman Johny G Rengma blamed the Nagaland unit of the Congress for the imposition of the President's rule.
He also alleged that the imposition of the President's rule was not a fallout of the December 13 no-confidence motion in the state.
