Cabinet approves allocation of land to Orient Craft Ltd
Hyderabad, Jan 4 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today approved allotment of 25 acres of land to Gurgaon-based Orient Craft Ltd, for setting up a world-class fashion HRD institute.
Duly considering the track record of the company with 23 units in and around New Delhi, the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy decided to provide the land opposite to the Apparel Export Textil Park, Gundlapochampally at a concessional rate of Rs five lakh per acre, Information Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy told reporters.
The Government would take back the land if the institute would not be operational by December 2008, he added.
The Cabinet also ratified allocation of 62 acres of Government land at a concessional rate of Rs 1.50 lakh per acre to the IIIT in neighbouring Rangareddy district, he added.
