Bihar: 2 children die, 5 injured in a road mishap

Lakhisarai, Jan 04: Altogether two children died and five, including a minor girl, sustained serious injuries in an accident on Lakhisarai-Jamui highway in the district yesterday.

Police said here today that the accident occurred when a loaded tractor suddenly overturned.

The vehicle was on its way from Khairi-Hasanpur village in Jamui district to Devghra Tola in Lakhisarai district.

Two minors died on the spot while four women and a minor girl sustained serious injuries.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital in the district.

However, the reason behind the mishap is being investigated, police said.
