Alps Ind to acquire power projects in HP, Uttarakhand
New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) Home furnishings firm Alps Industries Ltd (AIL) today it plans to acquire hydro-power projects in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
''We are currently negotiating with several parties for acquisition of allotted hydel power projects in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh,'' a statement said.
It added that the firm, based in Ghaziabad, also plans to bid for new projects through its wholly-owned subsidiary Alps Energy Pvt Ltd.
In addition, the company will also make direct bids for projects which are yet to be allotted.
