Two college students involved in kidnap of 9 year-old-boy nabbed
Bijapur, Karnataka, Jan 3 (UNI) Two college students, involved in kidnap of a Nine year-old boy here last week, were arrested at Gulbarga Railway Station today.
Superintendent of Police B S Marturkar told UNI that the movements of Javeed Husensab Nagaraboudi (24) and Mobin Hasanasab Mujawab (23) were detected through a mobile and after getting a message that they are bound for Hyderabad from Solapur by train a team of officials followed them to Solapur and another team waiting in Gulbarga arrested them.
The car used by the culprits to kidnap Shashank, son of a Class I Contractor here on December 26, who was rescued after two days near Pune with the help of Maharashtra, was also seized. The Car was also a stolen one, he added.
Mr Marturkar said that cash Rs 13.50 lakhs was seized from the arrested.
He said that the boy's son has now revealed that he had paid Rs 15 lakhs ransom for the release.
The culprits have revealed that they were inspired by a Hindi movie to kidnap the boy and demand ransom.
