Travelocity expands hotel-team in India
Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) International leader in online travel, Travelocity, has expanded its hotel-team in India and across Asia Pacific following the success of the Travelocity Preferred Hotels program in India and across Asia Pacific region.
Mr Grant Colquhoun has been appointed as the director of hotels for Asia Pacific. He will be supported by two newly appointed regional managers and a team of marketing managers and marketing co-ordinators based throughout the region, a release here said.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr Colquhoun said, ''Hoteliers have valued the global marketing power of Travelocity and its family of brands. Most notable has been the success of the Zuji sites in Asia Pacific, supported by travelocity.com in America and India and lastminute.com in Europe and a network of more than 42,000 affiliates throughout the world.'' More than 27,000 hotels participated in the Travelocity Preferred Hotel program globally, out of which 2,500 are based in Asia Pacific, the release said.
