NSCN(K) ultra killed by co-cadres in Nagaland

Kohima, Jan 3: An NSCN(K) cadre was killed by his own partymen when he, along with four others, tried to flee from the NSCN(K) camp at Samjiuram under Jalukie subdivision in Peren district of Nagaland.

Official sources said here today altogether five ultras, all from Chanlang district of Arunachal Pradesh, were trying to flee from their camp yesterday when other militants chased them and shot dead one of them. However, two of the fleeing cadres surrendered before the police at Jalukie, one of them managed to escape and the other was captured by the chasers.

Police later recovered the slain cadre's body as well as empty shells of SBBL and AK rifles.
