Karnataka Governor distributes Agriculture Awards

Bangalore, Jan 3: Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today asked winners of 'Krishi Pandit' award to help the fellow farmers to realise better yield and income as they have been enjoying.

Speaking after distributing Agriculture Annual Awards here, he also called upon the Awardees to develeop innovative and creative technology which could further help the farmers in improving the yield and realise higher income apart from making their life easier."We must do everything possible to restore faith and pride in farming," he added.

Mr Thakur gave away State Agriculture Awards to 38 persons in recognition of their contribution in the field of agriculture in the State.
