Jindal Saw bags $250 million orders

New Delhi, Jan 3: Jindal Saw Ltd today said it has recently received various orders aggregating to about 250 million dollars for supply of spiral pipes, longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipes and seamless pipes.

The company has received the order of about 80 million dollars from Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia for supply of spiral pipes which shall be supplied in 2008, said a statement. The second order is for about 40 million dollars from Iraq for supply of seamless pipes and third order for more than 95 million dollars from Abu Dhabi Government-owned International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC).

With these orders, the company's present order book exceeds 850 million dollars. These orders are scheduled to be completed by January 2009.
