Jindal gets final nod for development of EI-Mutun mines

New Delhi, Jan 3: Jindal Steel&Power Ltd today said it has recieved the approval of the Government of Republic of Bolivia for development of EI-Mutun Iron Ore Mine and setting up of 1.7 million TPA steel plant there at with investment of 2.1 billion dollars. Jindal Steel said in a statement that it will now take steps for development of EI-Mutun Iron Mine and setting up of Steel Plant. The contracted mine contains an estimated Iron Ore reserves of 20 billion tons.
