Union Minister conducts review meeting with top officials
Bangalore, Jan 2 (UNI) Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today held a review meeting with top Government officials of Karnataka, in the presence of State Governor Rameshwar Thakur in Raj Bhavan.
The meeting, started late in the evening, was attended by advisors to the Governor - Mr Tharakan, Mr P C Krishnakumar and Mr P P Prabhu.
State Home Secretary Vatsala Vasta, State Planning Commission Vice Chairman Meenakshi Sundaram, IG and DGP K H Srinivasan, Additional IG Shankar Bidri, City Police Commissioner Neelam Achutarao and other top officials also attended the meeting.
The meeting presided by Mr Patil reviewed law and order situation in the State over the past three months, besides mid-term polls to State Legislative Assembly and disaster management like flood relief.
