Man impersonating as police officer held in J
Jammu, Jan 2 (UNI) A man impersonating as a police officer was held by the local residents in the city outskirts of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said today.
A man identified as Subhash Choudhary was nabbed by the locals yesterday evening in tehsil Akhnoor, while he imposed himself as an inspector in Police Department.
''The accused went to a petrol pump and after re-filling the fuel, he did not pay the bill and imposed as a police officer,'' sources told UNI asserting that when tried to escape, he was apprehended by the onlookers and was later handed over to the police.
Police has registered a case. Investigations was on.
