Kuchcha baniyan gang loot valuables worth Rs 2 lakh
Etawah, Jan 2 (UNI) Six members of the notorious 'kuchcha baniyan' gang today raided a house and decamped with Rs 2 lakh worth of valuables after wounding six occupants of the house in Basrehar area here.
Police said the gang targetted the house of one Chandrapal Singh of village Ashanandpur village around 0300 hrs, when the occupants were sleeping.
They attacked them with batons and daggers and later decamped with valuables.
The injured had been admitted to hospital.
Meanwhile, a manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
