Delhi records coldest morning of season

New Delhi, Jan 2: Delhi recorded the season's coldest morning today with the minimum temperature plummeting to 1.9 degrees Celsius, five degrees below normal.

Weather office here said the cold wave conditions were likely to continue for few more coming days. In 2006, the minimum temperature had dipped to around 0 degree Celsius. The minimum visibility recorded this morning was 800 metres, it added. Yesterday was the coldest New Year morning in five years with the mercury touching 2.6 degrees Celsius. Weatherman said the minimum temperature was likely to hover around one degree Celsius.
