Three killed in road accident near Mysore

Mysore, Jan 1: Three persons were killed and two injured when their car dashed against a wayside tree on Bangalore-Mysore state higway near Sreerangapatna early this morning.

Police said that the accident occurred when the car was on its way back to Kodagu from Bangalore after a New Year Day celebrations last night.

The victims have been identified as Arun, Prakash and Umesh from Madikeri, police said.

The injured have been admitted to K R Hospital here.
