Nehru Chair of Indian business to be set up at Cambridge Univ
New Delhi, Jan 1 (UNI) India has endowed the establishment of the 'Jawaharlal Nehru Professorship of Indian Business and Enterprise' at the Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
The Chair, at the Judge Business School of the University, will provide leadership for a programme of research about the changing nature of business in India and promote understanding of contemporary India, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said here today.
The decision follows the announcement made by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during the visit of the then British Prime Minster Tony Blair to India in 2005.
