Naxal killed in encounter in AP village

Warangal (Andhra Pradesh), Jan 1: A Naxalite of the Janashakti outfit was today killed in a police enounter near Ramavaram village in Kodakandla mandal of this district.

Police said a four-member Naxal gang opened fire on the special police party who were combing the area. Police retaliated in which J Srinu alias Kumar, Kadavendi zonal committee member of Janashakti, was killed and three others managed to escape. One kit bag was recovered from the spot, police said.
