Cong leaders pray for Sonia's speedy recovery

Hyderabad, Jan 1:AICC secretary P Sudhakar Reddy today performed pooja at the Sri Vijaya Ganapathi swamy temple at Aravinda Nagar for the speedy recovery of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Ms Gandhi was admitted to a hospital late last night following complaints of chest pain and breathing problem.

Congress activists conducted prayers at Chilkalguda Church, a dargah near Ramnagar, a party release here said.

Poojas were also performed at Sri Sita Ramachandra swamy temple in Bhadrachalam and Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala by Congress workers.
