Four-member family buried to death in roof collapse

Moga, Dec 31 (UNI) All the four members of a family, a couple and two chidren, were buried alive when the roof of their one-room house collapsed early today in Teachers Colony in Faridkot district.

According to police, Ashok Kumar (35) a small-time cloth seller, his wife Neetu (32) son Nikhil (8) and daughter Koshish (6) died when the roof fell upon them while they were all asleep.

The neighbourers, who rushed to help on hearing the loud noise managed to extricate the children from the debris and rushed them to a hospital but the doctors declared both of them as brought dead.
