RLD demands CBI probe into farmers double suicide case

Lucknow, Dec 29 (UNI) Rashatriya Lok Dal (RLD) today demanded a CBI probe into the alleged suicide by two farmers recently in the Lakhimpur Kheri district.

'' Despite the fact that the district administration has accepted that the duo's land was auctioned illegaly, no action has been taken against the concerned officials yet,'' UP RLD unit president Ram Asrey Verma said.

''A case of murder should be booked against the accused soon,'' the RLD leader demanded.
