NCC cadets stage rally on AIDS prevention

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 29 (UNI) The NCC cadets staged a rally in the city today, highlighting the themes for prevention of AIDS, Blood donation, Anti-Plastic, Anti-tobacco, tree planting, water harvesting and adhering to traffic regulations.

In a press release here, Lt Col R Thapar said the rally was organised as part of the combined annual training camp.

He said 750 cadets from 15 schools and four colleges had participated in the rally.

Flagging off the rally, Rev Fr R Rajarathinam, Principal, St Josephs college, here lauded the efforts of NCC cadets.
