Mumbai, Dec 29 (UNI) A local court today directed film producer Mukesh Bhatt and three others to remain present in the court on January 1, for hearing of a case filed against them by lyricist Salim Bijnori for alleged non-payment and deletion of his name from credits.

Bijnori has written two songs for the film ''Showbiz''. The film was released yesterday.

The Metropolitan Magistrate, Andheri Court, directed Bhatt, executive producer Kumkum Saigal, lyricist Sayyed Kadri and distributor of Vishesh Films to remain present in the court and file their written submissions.

Advocate of Vishesh Films was present in the court, while the remaining accused were absent.

The court directed the advocate to submit their written replies but the advocate sought time from the court. Thereafter, the Magistrate adjourned the hearing till January 1, next year.

Advocate Jeevan Sawant, who is representing Bijnori, said that his client had written two songs for the film. But, he had neither received money for it nor did his name appear in the end credits of the film.
