Monkey wounds sector magistrate on election duty

Ballia, Dec 29 (UNI) A sector magistrate was wounded after a monkey bit him during the polling for Ballia Lok Sabha bypoll today.

However, the incident did not affect the poll, sources told UNI.

Raghvendra Prasad Srivastava, sector magistrate of Chaata area, was bitten by a monkey while on election duty.

Mr Srivastava was rushed to the hospital and another sector magistrate was deployed in his place.
