Jamshedpur, Dec 29 (UNI) Jharkhand Vikash Dal (JVD) president Suraj Mandal today charged the RJD supremo and Union Railway minister Laloo Prasad Yadav with dictating the affairs of Jharkhand.

Talking to UNI Mr Mandal, who came here to attend the convention of Jharkhand People's Party (JPP) said ''There is no government in Jharkhand and the Congress and the RJD have kept alive the Madhu Koda government for their own vested interests.'' Mr Mandal also came down heavily on Jharkhand Mukti Morcha supremo Shibu Soren for his comments about the killings of tribal in Assam. He said Mr Soren had lost his credibility among the tribals in Jharkhand and his party would have to pay for it in the next elections.

He said Mr Soren claimed himself as 'super CM' of Jharkhand but failed to resolve the problems of the state.

Mr Mandal, a former JMM MP, said both the NDA and the UPA had failed to deliver the goods and formation of an alternative front in Jharkhand was the need of the hour.

He said talks were on with the parties like JPP, Jharkhand Party (Horo and Naren factions) and other like-minded parties for the formation of an alternative front and decision in this regard would be taken in the JVD's foundation day programme at Jamtara on February 2.

Mandal also advocated for jobs for the locals in the industries, which would be set up in Jharkhad. ''We will not allow to set up new industries in Jharkhand if the local people are not given jobs first.'', he warned.

He said the JVD would organise a rally at Morabadi ground in Ranchi on January 19.
