Five-day Aradhana festival would commence on Jan 23

Thanjavur, Dec 29 (UNI) A five-day annual Aradhana festival of Saint Thiyagaraja of Thiruviyaru would commence on January 23 on the bank of river Cauvery in this district of Tamil Nadu.

Official sources said a procession carrying pictures of Thyagaraja would be taken from the Saint House at Thiruviyaru to his Samadhi on the northern side of the river after performing puja.
