Elaborate traffic arrangements for Ram setu sammelan tomorrow

New Delhi, Dec 29 (UNI) The Delhi police have made several elaborate arrangements to regulate traffic tomorrow in view of the Hindu Mahasammelan being organised by the Ram Setu Raksha Manch-Indraprastha at Rohini in North Delhi where lakhs of people from across the country are likely to participate.

In view of the likelihoood of arrival of lakhs of people in the conference, through all borders of Delhi as well as from three main railway stations-New Delhi, Old Delhi and Nizamuddin railway station- the Delhi traffic police have made elaborate traffic arrangements.

Accordingly, people have been asked to avoid the outer ring road from Mukarba Chowk till Peeragarhi chowk, Ring Road from Ashram to Chandgi Ram ka Akhara, Ring road from Dhaula Kuan to Wazirpur, Mathura road, NH-8, NH-24 and G T Road between 0700 hours to 1100 hours as well as between 1600 hours till 2000 hours.

During arrival of the participants in the mahasammelan - 0700 hours to 1100 hours - the carriageway leading to Japanese Park in Rohini on the above roads should be avoided, the police said.
