Advani to blame for militancy: Digvijay
Gwalior, Dec 29 (UNI) Claiming that religious frenzy transforms into terrorism, Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh today alleged that such frenzy, generated by senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani's rathyatra in the nineties, transformed into militancy.
''Mr Advani created hatred. There is a chasm between his words and deeds. On the one hand he creates hatred in this country by undertaking rathyatras while on the other he describes Mohammad Ali Jinnah as a symbol of communal harmony while visiting the latter's mausoleum,'' he told mediapersons here.
Mr Singh said that even in Pakistan such frenzy transformed into terrorism leading to the assassination of Pakistan People's Party leader Benazir Bhutto.
