Slight relief as mercury climbs to 6.5 deg C

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) After the biting cold in Delhi yesterday with the mercury recording 4.8 degree Celsius, the minimum rose two notches today.

The minimum temperature was 6.5 degree Celsius, which was normal.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature was two degree below normal.

The maximum temperature, however, dipped by a degree, recording 21.3 degree Celsius.

The Met office forecast a mainly clear sky for tomorrow with the minimum likely to remain at 7 degree Celsius.
