Five members of a picnic party die in road accident

Kokrajhar, Dec 28 (UNI) At least five members of a picnic party were killed in a road accident in Assam's Bongaigaon district this evening.

Police sources said that the vehicle of the picnic party carrying 12 people collided head on with a truck.

The accident occurred at about 2000 hours at Boithamari under Chapor Police Station and all the five were killed on the spot.

The picnic party was returning from Surjya hills of Goalpara district, sources added.
