Cong leader's body to be cremated Dec 29

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (UNI) The mortal remains of Senior Congress Leader and Khairatabad MLA P Janardhan Reddy who died here today would be consigned to flames at the Amberpet Crematorium tomorrow.

Party sources said the body, kept at his house in the city, would be brought to Congress Party headquarters -- Gandhi Bhavan -- tomorrow morning.

The funeral procession would start from the party office to the crematorium in the afternoon.

The government declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the city.

Congress workers, leaders and the people of Khairatabad Assembly constituency were thronging his house to pay last respects to the departed leader.
