One injured in accidental fire, another injured in accident

Srinagar, Dec 27 (UNI) A man was injured when a rifle of a constable went off accidentally while a traffic police official was injured in road accident in the valley today, official sources said.

The service rifle of Constable Ishratul-Rehman, Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Zonal President Breng Kokernag, went off accidentally near Sarnal, causing injury to a civilian Mohammad Altaf Bhat.

The injured has been hospitalised and a case has been registered against the constable, they added.

A motorcyclist hit and injured a constable of traffic Police Bashir Ahmad at Tulsibagh Crossing. The injured constable was hospitalised.
