Bangalore, Dec 27(UNI) Alpasankhyataru Hinudlidavaru Mattu Dalitaru (AHINDA) Convenor Prof N V Narasimhaiah today demanded immediate dismissal of former Karnataka Minister and Senior Congress leader Mahadev from the party.

Speaking to newspersons he alleging that Mr Mahadev had indulged dividing the Congress party unnecessarily raking up the issues like migrants and original members of the party, which is dangerous since unity in the party was need of the hour with elections round the corner.

"Dividing a party in the name of caste or religion is dangerous since leaders may belong to different religion or caste. Nobody should indulge in disturbing secularism in the society. Otherwise the party would loose its credibility and these pacifist forces should be removed", he added.

Mr Narasimhaiah condemned Mr Mahadev for making a provoking speech during 'Chaitanya Samavesha' in Mysore on Sunday alleging that the new comers to the Congress had been trying to ride on old and senior members.

"Such attitude by any leader of a party would spoil the image of the party and they should be punished immediately," he demanded.
