P D Patodia elected as President of CAI

Mumbai, Dec 26 (UNI) P D Patodia has been elected President of Cotton Association of India (CAI) for the year 2007-08 by the CAI Board of Directors.

Mr Patodia is on the CAI's Board since 1984 and has been Vice President of CAI since 2002.

S M Makharia and B S Bangdiwala have been elected as the Vice-President and the Additional Vice-President respectively.

Mr Makharia is on the CAI's Board since 1986 and is also the Chairman of Bombay Cotton Merchants and Muccadums Associations, while Mr Bangdiwala is on the CAI's Board since 1990 and is also the Chairman of Bombay Ready Cotton Broker's Association.

Shirish R Shah has been elected as the Treasurer of CAI. He is closely connected with the activities of CAI and is a member of various Committees of the Board, a release issued by CAI said.
