Modi's win is 'victory of Hindutva': M M Joshi

Ballia, Dec 26 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and former union minister Murli Manohar Joshi today termed Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's victory in the recent assembly election as ''victory of Hindutva.'' Lauding Modi's successive win at the hustings, Mr Joshi said ''his victory shows that public supports an honest man.'' Mr Joshi, who was here to support the party candidate Virendra Singh in the December 29 by-election, said Modi's victory indicated that honesty and dedication towards work was above casteism.

He asked the people of Ballia to extend their support in the same manner to his party candidate.

Mr Joshi said Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party were dividing people on caste lines, which could prove fatal to the nation in the coming years.
