Lack of funds not to effect welfare schemes: Koda

Hazaribagh, Dec 26 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said that implementation of welfare schemes will not be effected due to lack of funds.

Addressing a gathering here, Mr Koda said the state government would spend as much funds needed for proper implementation of the schemes.

Mr Koda also laid foundation stones of Konar bridge propsed over the Konar river and road connecting Vishnugarh and Kharna area of the district.

About Rs 2.80 crore would be spent in building the bridge being built under Gram Setu Yojna and about Rs 2.10 would be incurred for construction of the road.

Speaking about other welfare schemes he said that a 100-beded hospital would be constructed in Vishnugarh area.

He said that delayed Konar irrigation project would also be completed very soon to provide water to land in the area.
