Himalya in agreement with Reliance Retail for yogurt, milk

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) Export-oriented food processing company Himalya International has inked an agreement with Reliance Retail, country's leading retail company, to source yogurt and flavoured milk.

Reliance has already approved Himalya's cheese facility for the dairy products and entered into an agreement for buying cheese for Retail outlets.

Himalya will extend its dairy processing plant and invest in state-of-art yogurt plant to be imported from the US, a company statement said.

The company plans to launch flavoured and fruit yogurts in various other retail chains, besides, Reliance in 2008, the statement added.
