Samata party supports RJD in Bikramganj Lok sabha by-election

Patna, Dec 24 (UNI) Samata Party's MP Vashisht Narayan Singh today announced his support to RJD candidate for the Bikramganj Lok Sabha by-election.

He said his support to the Opposition candidate was to protest the Nitish Kumar's government alleged negligence on the region of Shahabad.

In a hurriedly convened news conference, Mr Singh told reporters that by not giving him any represantation in the cabinet, Mr Kumar had ignored the Shahabad region. He said that his party was extending moral and logical support to the RJD in the election.

He, however, claimed that this move should not be considered that the Samata party has joined the RJD's fold.

The MP said that he would campaign in favour of RJD candidate during which he would expose real face of Nitish Kumar. He said the regeion was facing crisis of fartilizer due to the poor management of the officials.
