Mah BJP to celebrate Vajpayee's birthday as 'Guj vijay divas'

Mumbai, Dec 24 (UNI) BJP's Maharashtra unit has decided to celebrate the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee tomorrow as ''Gujarat Vijay Divas''.

State unit chief of the party Nitin Gadkari in a statement issued here said people of Gujarat have voted the party back to power with 117 seats which was a perfect birthday gift to Mr Vajpayee.

''As a token of thanks to the people of Gujarat and celebrating Atalji's birthday, the state unit workers will illuminate the party offices all over the state tomorrow and also hold victory rallies,'' he added.
