Custody of Gurgaon school shootout accused extended till Jan 7

Gurgaon, Dec 24 (UNI) A local court today extended till January 7, 2008 the judicial custody of the two schoolboys, who allegedly shot dead their classmate on December 11 at Euro International School here.

The accused, Akash and Vikas, will be kept in a juvenile home till further hearing. The two boys were earlier sent to 14-day judicial custody at the Faridabad Juvenile Home.

The court also fixed January 4 for the bail application filed by Vikas.

Meanwhile, victim Abhishek's father, Ravinder Tyagi alleged the police were doing nothing and there was a conspiracy to save the accused in the case.

Azad Yadav, father of Akash, was arrested on December 14 and a case was registered against him under the Arms Act for negligence in handling the revolver which was used in the killing of 14-year-old Abhishek. He was granted 14 days judicial custody.
