Haryana govt to liberalise Ad policy for small papers

Panipat, Dec 23 (UNI) The Haryana government was planning to liberalise its advertisement policy towards small and medium newspapers being published in the state.

This was being done to provide financial assistance required for their regular publication, Director Public Relations K K Khandelwal said while talking to mediapersons here today.

He said the government had taken a number of steps for the welfare of the journalists community and had instituted awards at state and district level to acknowledge their contribution to the society .
