Patna, Dec 23 (UNI) Former Governor of Gujarat and senior BJP leader Kailashpati Mishra today dubbed the triumph of BJP in the state assembly elections as victory of ''Hindutva''.

Mr Mishra told UNI here the Gujarat assembly result was a warning for the Congress and cautioned that it would face similar drubbings in electoral battles in the coming days. He alleged that the Congress was playing the communal game while it continued to accuse BJP of indulging into communal politics.

''The Congress is no longer adopting the ideology set by its predecessors Ballabhbhai Patel and Lok Manya Tilak since it is now being dominated by Sonia Gandhi and her coterie, who have no 'principle' and 'vision,'' he observed.

''The victory of the BJP was also an indicative of triumph of nationalist forces,'' Mr Mishra further observed and alleged that the Congress was jeopardising the security of the nation by allowing the Prevention of Terrorist and Disruptive Activities act(POTA) to lapse. The nuclear interests of the country had also been ignored by the UPA government in the Centre as it was negotiating with the US without any reservations for the security concerns of the country, he added.
