Bandh in violence hit Kapasan in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh, Dec 23 (UNI) After a day of arson yesterday following the slaughter of a cow during Eid, the Kapasan sub-divion is observing a bandh today on a call given by the Vishwa Hindu Parisad (VHP).

The killing of a cow in Jamanpura village triggered the violence which took a communal turn yesterday in which many minority properties were destroyed in arson and violence.

The bandh was almost total with business establishments remaining closed. However, no untoward incident has been reported so far.
